Default T-Mobile Mobile Backup for 9700

Please Login to Remove!

When I purchased my phone, there was a note in the box saying that the myFaves and Mobile Backup features were not installed on the device. It said that they hope to provide these features via software updates soon.

Does anyone know if and when they might do this? I have tried checking for Wireless Updates but there are none yet.

Thanks!

Anyone? I guess I'll just have to put up with the waiting game as customer reps "never" know anything about when anything will be done/fixed/released.

I upgraded to 5.0.0.423 OS and the first time I searched my contacts, the tmobile backup showed up. I was able to back up and see my contacts on the tmo website. My wife did not upgrade the operating system and no option for the backup. When I chatted with tmobile tech support, she said it was not available. Good luck.

You can also just use Google Sync, which will sync your contacts and calendar with your Gmail account.

mobile back up was not unavailable during the release of the 9700. whether it was rushed or whatever the story is, however it is in newer version of the OS. and the website fully supports it

How does Mobile Backup work? I have attachments and lots of notes in my contacts and I file some by company name instead of contract name. Will this be destroyed if I use TMO Mobile Backup?
