Default Blackberry 9700 Bold Bluetooth Problems..

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Friends,

Recently just got my new 9700 bold but am having problems with the bluetooth function. I cant seem to receive any files from other bluetooth devices?? I read somewhere that on Blackberries you need to go to media, press the receive using Bluetooth option and then it works, but on mine it consistently says waiting for connection??

I have already paired it with these devices, but it just seems to disconnect and says it is unable to transfer files??

Can someone please help me and tell me where im going wrong??

Thanks

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

Is the other device sending the file to your phone?

I just got my 9700 yesterday and I'm Oh so very excited hahaha! This is my first post in the forum too!
I guess this was asked a long time ago but anyway, here's your answer.

First, you need to turn your bluetooth on and your BB must be paired with your computer. Then you need to do the following:
1. Go to your Home screen, click the Media icon.
2. Click your Menu Button
3. Select "Receive using bluetooth"
4. If prompted, click "Yes".
5. If a password is needed, type 1234 or any number combination on your BB and then type the same number combination on your computer.

And that's it! : ) Hope it helps!
