Does anyone know the amount of time it takes on average to push IT policy to new BlackBerries?

Also, is there a method of applying policy to a group of BlackBerries at the same time?

IT Policy update times can be completed in minutes or days depending on several factors.

How busy the servers are.
The service area where the device is. Home vs roaming
How many devices are being updated.

The best solution is to create your IT Policy and add users to it.
If you have several hundred devices, you may want to add 50 accounts at a time. I leave the default policy alone and use my custom policy. This way the default policy is available for testing.

Our policy usually updates within 20 minutes or so if not quicker. We have created a custom policy and I am curious what settings others are using in their custom policies and why.
