Default PLEASE HELP!!! Constant reboot.

Please Login to Remove!

After downloading the new OS software, my phone keeps resetting after being idle for 30 seconds. As long as I am touching the keys or trackball it is okay. Once I do nothing with it, it resets over and over, and over again without ever actually turning on fully. really frustrated. Reloaded software twice, did the battery, sim pull, everything. I am at a loss why it keeps doing this. this is the only thing wrong. thanx in advance'

Did you upgrade from 4.3 or lower to 4.5 or higher? If so remove the media card and see if it stops.

Yes I did, and when I did what you suggested, it is fine. So now what do I do? Go back to an earlier version and which version do you recommend for the BB8800 t-mobile?

No not all all! You will LOVE 4.5! Great features! Just connect your Media Card to the PC and back the files up and them format the card. Put it back in the HandHeld and format it again. Then use mass storage or Media Manager to copy back only the pics and music. DO NOT copy any folders from the backup or any hidden Index.dat files. You will be good to go!

Enjoy!

Make sure that you back it up first. Then Menu>Options>Advanced>media Card>menu>Format Now.

Watching Youtube for one. Just go play with it. The browser and media functions, Docs to Go. Much nicer OS!
