Default Upgrading my Tour

Please Login to Remove!

I've had a Tour for a while now and am due for an upgrade. Wondering if anybody has advice. Unfortunately, I'm on Sprint. While I've been pretty happy with customer service and connectivity, their selection of phones doesn't seem great. I don't mind switching providers...

I would look around at all the carrier offerings and from there make the call. Each BB has features but some are found on phones that are called a different name. The latest touch phones will be available from most carriers including Sprint. I would if it were me hesitate a bit on the touch phones based on the complaints I have read. Ixxx8217;m sure the carriers and Rim will eventually resolve any issues and they will be come suitable for just about everyone. Again this is only my opinion and others may have a different idea. As for Sprint, I donxxx8217;t have a problem with their offerings and if you have good service and coverage in the areas you need it, then I would keep them. I have ATT and in my area do have some issues and when my contract is up I xxx8220;mayxxx8221; look around also.

I lucked out and had multiple failures with my tour. Sprint upgraded me to the Bold 9650, and I have been happy ever since. The addition of the wifi, and the ability to upgrade to OS6 kept me happy for another year. Battery life sucks for the EVO, and that really is the only other phone I would have switched to.
But shop around, see what phone you need that has the features you require.
Good luck and happy shopping!

Which provider has the best coverage where you will use the device - where you live, work, travel and play? Decide that first, then pick the device you want.

Makes no sense to switch to one which offers less coverage, even for a sexier phone.

I switched from the Tour to the Bold and love it. I just tried an Epic for 3 1/2 weeks and I'm back to my BlackBerry. The Bold is a worthwhile upgrade from the Tour.
