This is really great...now no more hunting around the various sites for the latest BG scoops...I like the look of the website as well...the Flash banner with the subtle animation is a nice touch...
I'm holding out for Crimson with the camera, but the Indigo is the best looking by far. Kinda like the big brother of the Pearl. Incidentally, why is the Pearl listed on the roadmap as "Magenta"? Slick site, by the way!
What is the purpose of having the external charging contacts, will the Indigo include a cradle?
No cradle included, but RIM is selling cradles that allow you to charge the BlackBerry with having to plug the USB cable. Same with the Pearl. Personally, I don't see to many people shelling out $99 for the cradle. I will plug the USB cable in manually for that much.
that Wi-fi is looking good, will this switch automatically or will it need to be switched manually. also noted that will have the ability for podcasts.
Boy Genius...U have got to be the coolest guy on earth for launching that type of site. Can I get your autograph or something? Lmao.... Has anyone noticed on BG's site for the 8800 and 8100c launch dates, that the 8100c (Pearl) for Cingular "doesn't" have the lower convenience key on the right side? This key is usually for the camera.... Could they be omitting the camera on the "Cingular's" version of the Pearl? They're already getting the 8800c "Indigo", obviously, and that one doesn't have a camera. Is Cingular gonna be the "non-camera" exclusive for Blackberries in the future and T-Mobile being the "camera" exclusive? What do you think?
