Default Delete from Mailbox BWC

Please Login to Remove!

I have selected "Delete from mailbox and handheld", but when I delete the emails from BB, it does not delete it from BWC mailbox. Is there a time lag?

When you delete off the handheld, the handheld wont delete it right away off the web client.

it can take upto 20 mins, but after deleting the email, click the trackwheel in and select Reconcile now. Do the mesages delete right away then?

Try hard reset, and deleting your service book and resending it.

You are right! This worked...

A question related this. There is an option on BWC page saying

"Wireless Delete Options
Enable permanent deletion of messages on WebClient when messages are deleted from the handheld. "

If I check this, when I delete emails from BB and select "Delete from Handheld only", what will happen?

Thanks for your help!

No

It just means the messages wont go into deleted items, they will be purged immediately.

hope that helps!

If you ran a lot of messages wouldn't you want them to purge right away. Unlike other webmail accounts the bwc trash counts against your total 10mb.

I am having similar problems with my new 7100T, i.e. messages deleted from my BB are not deleting from my BWC inbox, even after reconciling. I also have a connection to my company's BES, so might there be an issue with auto-reconciling messages when using BES? Messages do get deleted from my BB when I deleted them from BWC.
