Guys

I can´t sent e-mail from my device (Blackberry) after change my IP address (Internet). I use a BES server and connect me on server RIM "srp.eu.blackberry.net".

Anybody know if RIM there are restrition by new address?

Please help me.

What's the status of your SRP connection on BES? Does it show 'Connected' or 'Disconnected' ?

The new IP should have no effect on BES functionality, as long as your machine can still make an outbound connection to RIM on TCP port 3101.

SRP's are actually restricted by region. I tried to install a BES in Hong Kong and point to hk.srp.blackberry.com and it kept giving me SRP disconnected and I know it was good.
Since i bought the SRP from a US reseller, i had to have the HK box point to us.srp.blackberry.com for it to work.

Penguin has the right idea. If you changed IP's on your server and didn't get the net engineering guys to make sure the port was open on the new address, you will probably not have connectivity.

SRP's are NOC restricted. Once a BES connects to a NOC it cannot connect to another NOC without being removed from the original NOC's registration ... which can be done with a call to T-Support.

Thanks hdawg. I understood it as different regions. I did know that a call to TSupport can 'enable' the connection to hk.srp but as it turned out, the ping response times to us.srp was less then hk.srp from my server in hk so i didnt bother to have tsupport change it.
sorry for this may be off topic but will my asia users see any benefit or degredation from this if their handhelds are still in asia?

As long as the SRP is connected and you've got a reliable connection the users should see no difference. Sure the bits will have to move a bit around the globe, but that is minimal in the grand scheme of things.
