just received new 8820. trying to setup to receive hotmail from wifi hotspot, once connected and try to set up hotmail, get the error message that desktop browser not supported, i do not have a data plan, can someone please tell me how to get past this and use wifi to check my hotmail account, thanks

By set up account, do you mean log into your account?

Have you tried using the mobile view of the browser?

You might also want to try the mobile formatted version of the website. I don't use hotmail, but I believe it's mobile.msn.com
