Lightbulb Your Exchange Server OUR BES!

Please Login to Remove!

That's right folks... Your Exchange Server - Our BES..

We are a short time away from launching our new service called SoloSync -

What does this mean?

Well in short, ...it means exactly that.

If you or your employer are currently using your own Exchange server and want to get on a BES while still remaining on your Existing IN HOUSE Exchange server, you need our new service.. Launching Shortly.

We are the only company right now with the ability to offer this unique service.

This is great for those of you have no desire to have a Hosted Exchange mailbox just to get on a BES. If you are already using Outlook, through an Exchange server we can sync you.

So basically, you will continue to use your existing IN HOUSE Exchange Server, and outsource the BES service to US.

What our service does:
Sync Email ( real time )
Contacts
Calendar
Web Browers using our BES

What our service doesn't do:
Folder Redirection
Sync Tasks
Sync Memo's.

We hope to launch this service publicly in the next 30 - 45 days as we are just completing final stages of testing.

If you are interested please signup for our email updates. No spam, no solicitations or anything like that. Just an update now and then with info regarding the public release, and maybe some discounts for the first bunch of users..

EDIT - We have sent out the first email to users on our email list. The service is in a "pre-launch" status, and we are waiving setup fees for users that signed up for our newsletter. If you have not yet signed up for our newsletter, please do so now.

Please signup for this exciting new service here:
Signup here >>>>

Leibdav1 is our first live customer on the service! - Congratulations on being the first of this unique service. We hope all goes well in this "pre-launch" status, and look forward to your review.

Please also note:
This is not an automatic setup.

This system is very complex, and requires manual configuration on our side. Please allow some time for us to contact you after you signup, as we need to manually create your account. You will get an email with some instructions, and details you must gather in order to finish the setup of your account.

Nice, that's exactly what I've been looking for & might make me move away from Nokia M4E. What sort of connection will you need into the exchange server?

The only requirement is that OWA is running and accessable from the internet.
You will obviously also need to know the login credentials..

That's it.. We do the rest from there..

What will the price of this be? Could we use this with a free exchange server like mail2web.com for a cheap BES solution?

Oh my god, this is wonderful! I can't wait for this to be released. I'm very excited! Hopefully it will come out sooner than later! I'm even willing to help with testing if that will get it to me sooner!

So far pricing has been set at $30.00 per month for single users, and $24.99 for 2 or more users so it's by no means cheap with no activation fee.

This service is more expensive than a regular hosted Exchange and BES service, as plans can be had for as little as $19.98 including a hosted exchange mailbox.

This application is directly marketed to users that already have an Exchange Server, and simply need to add a few users to a BES and cannot justify the additional costs of attempting to bring a BES server in house.

This isn't meant to be a cheap alternative to a hosted exchange / bes solution, but rather help users and organizations that want / need a bes solution that MUST remain on their own Exchange Server.

I hope that clears the air..

I believe that cost would be well worth it. There really are no other good alternatives out there.

Why do you need access to OWA? Evceryone can setup their bb to connect to OWA and install Desktop menager to synch...it is free...

This solution doesn;t require desktop manager.. The Blackberry will be running on a Blackberry Enterprise Server.

OWA login is used for synching email, contacts, calendar.

This is a full BES account with all features of a BES except for those already specified.

This is a true HOSTED BES solution.

Make sense?

OK. Well, where I work security policy does not allow OWA to be used. If we don't have wireless synch then then it is not vell worth to use that over BIS. New Bis will give you everything else as BES...attachments etc...
But neat idea. I beleive there is something simular here in Canada though.

Without OWA access, there is no way for it to work. and no added benefit for you. Sorry..

I am awaiting verification on this, but I am going to say Yes. I will post for certain tomorrow whether MDS is enabled or not. I think it would be silly if it wasn't enabled.

From what I have been told so far everything is included except what was originally posted as not being available

What our service does:
Sync Email ( real time )
Contacts
Calendar
Web Browers using our BES

What our service doesn't do:
Folder Redirection
Sync Tasks
Sync Memo's.

My thinking is that "Web Browers using our BES" is MDS, but i will verify with the developers tomorrow and get back to you.

EDIT: Yes i have confirmed the service will include MDS service. The official name of the service is going to be called SoloSync.

I just ordered and paid for the SoloSync service! Very excited to get it to work. I should have it up and running by tomorrow. We'll see how it works.

I have it up and running and it's terrific! Well worth the cost. The push email is instant, and actually hits my BB before it hits my outlook. The contacts and calendar sync just like they normally would normally. The only drawback is that tasks and memos don't transfer over. No biggie, since I don't use those anyway. I love this service!

The developers are working on it, but it's not something i would count on. It's very difficult, and most likely would cause extreme latency issues.

I expect they will be working on it for a long time, unless RIM opens the doors on this technology, which i highly doubt will ever happen.

This is all custom coded software, and nothing in the world like it.

So basically with SoloSync I have all the email, calendar, contact functions of having an in-house BES without those other features (for now - hopefully)?
