What does the symbol over the antenna mean. It is not in the documentation.

Not sure why the image isn't showing but if you copy the URL and paste it in a browser you will see the image.

the triangle means that if you roll your trackwheel up, there are more options on your screen....basically telling you to page up.

cheers

as for the image, due to security issues, the bbcode will not parse image links that are dynamic (not a specific URL for the image) - these usually include a php script and a question mark (such as the case above).

Looks like a roaming icon to me, do you by any chance have an old(er) sim that was issued on Voicestream, Omnipoint or one of the older networks?

and if thats a 'more' triangle, then it has been changed since that picture was taken. i just checked mine out and the 'more' triangle is black and straight geometrical (no rounded edges) and its placement is along the side of the icons to the right (top and bottom; below the antenna).

as for roaming, the handset pictured says 'T-Mobile' - i don't think thats roaming ;)

It is not the more symbol as I am on the home page and there are no other symbols showing than the standard icons so there is no where to page up or down to. I am using the SIM that was originally in my 7230. When i purchased the 7100, I had T-Mobile transfer the SIM over to the 7100. I am not roaming as I am on the T-Mobile network. Anyone else get this?

Not sure... if you pull your battery and reboot the device does it show up again?

Even if you are not roaming on T-mobile, the SIM might think you are, I have a voicestream SIM here that always shows me as roaming, unless I'm in the network it was originally sold on.

Let me try that in my 7100...
