i downloaded a theme on my pc and then transferred the jad file to my girlfriends 8330. when i tried to download the file when on the blackberry i keep getting a download failed error. i would download the theme right to her bb but she does not have a data plan. is it possible to put a theme on this way?

I don't believe so, I think you need the ALX/COD files instead. Does the place where you downloaded the theme offer a desktop download instead of the OTA (jad file)?

Jad files are Over the Air downloads and can't be installed through the memory card if you just have the .jad file...

Hello all, bb newbie here. I can install .alx files fine, but a lot of the themes I have found use .cod files and if I try to add with bb manager, I get an error message: something about no application files. How do I install or transfer the .cod files to be able to use the new themes?

I have a Curve 8330 btw.

is there anyway to possibly convert a jad to an alx. or is it not possible to install the theme at all.
