Thumbs up Today + for 8310 w/ 4.2 OS ?

Please Login to Remove!

BCollins,
I love the Today and Today + versions! I have an 8310 Curve w/ 4.2.2 OS.....can I use it? How many messages & calendar entries show on the home screen?

I've been looking EVERYWHERE for a Today version that will show the most message & calendar entries with as little else as possible. So far, yours are the best!!!

I just want to be sure I can utilize it on my BB before I download. Also, where is the site to download either of these?

You Da Bomb Baby!! Lo

Yea they work for the 8310. Just download the 83xx version, and then the 4.2 version. The link to download is in the second post to this thread. I believe the Today has 2 for each calendar and message. The Today+ should show 3 of each Calendar/Messages. I can alter it to show more without the bottom dock if you want to send me a message and we can discuss it

Wink Donations

If I can get what I'm looking for here, I won't mind donating..........All I want is the the MOST email messages and calendar entries possible on the home screen without going to something like PocketDay........I prefer a less cluttered look like yours.....and would rather give you the $
Lo

It was my impression tho that w/ the Curve 8310 and OS of 4.2 that it was not possible to get more entries such as I'm requesting.............?

Wirelessly posted (All the cool kids are doing it)

Far as I know it does, give my iSunset theme a try and let me know if it will show more of the calendar entries. That Today+ theme just shows all calendar entries with a bottom dock

Question De link, De link........

Color me stupid because I don't see any link for either the Vista one or the Sunset.

If the Today+ shows more than 2 calendar entries (for Curve 8310 w/ OS 4.2.2) then I would be elated!! Sure would like to know for certain before downloading tho. If I can get what I want here and download it without a glitch..........you can have my wallet for all I care.........

Also, what were you saying about the bottom dock? The less cluttered, the better....I think. Only messages and calendar are important in my book.

Thx,
Lo

I can't say for sure on the 4.2 cause I use 4.5, but on my 4.5 I can view more messages/calendar entries than just 2. The OTA link's for the themes are in the second post of this thread which links you to Pimpmyberry.com. You may have to register there to see the links. But in the 83xx thread there is a spot under the pictures that says OTA's and then the name (Blank 4.2 | Blank 4.5) click on whichever version you want to download (Today/Today+) and make sure you click on the 4.2 version. All you have to do is download and try it, if it doesn't work then just remove it from your berry. The iSunset OTA's are in a different thread.

When I'm saying about the bottom dock on the Today+ version it has Message/Calendar showing the items and then the bottom dock has the icons at the bottom.

Default ok

No links in the thread I'm looking at, but I'll go to pimp and check out. Where is the sunset one?

I was told that you needed a Plazmic file to run these on an 8310 if using v4.2 ?????

Man, this is getting crazy trying to find one w/ the most messages and calendar entries on the home screen. You'd think there would be more options for the Today themes.........geez.

Default got it

B,
Got the links at pimp, but don't I need a "plazmic" file to make this work on my 8310 / v4.2 ? Also, can't tell which version is which. I want the one with the 3 calendar entries but can't tell the name of it to download the correct file.....plz advise.

BTW, it looks to be the best today theme out there I've seen so far. You must have put some hard work into it. Will deff donate.

Thx,
Lo

No, you do not need plazmic files to run themes. Theme reader is included in OS 4.2 and higher

Any chances to get this for the Bold? I know other themes are starting to show up for the BB Bold with Plazmic 4.6.
