Unhappy BB 7100r and Jabro BT-200

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, I've just got the 7100r and have a BT200 bluetooth headset I'm trying to connect.

After putting the jabra in pairing mode, and pairing it to the blackberry, it Resets (the blackberry).

After it restarts, and a phone call is started, or if I try to connect to the headset, the device just keeps resetting.

Anyone else having problems?

I have a 7290 and I couldn't get my bluetooth headset to work either - it keeps hanging up.

I am running Cingular release 219 on my TMobile 7100 and have the same issue with a Jabra BT250. I have been trying other carriers (Rogers, TMobile) and continue to have the same issue so I am changing headsets. Given up on the Jabra for now.

The BT200 and BT250 are a bit different.

The BT200 and the 7100r have a known problem (resetting the 7100r) to RIM that they claim *may* be fixed in some future software release. Both the latest Rogers 4.0 and the Cingular 4.0 do not fix this.

I went through this all about a month ago and ended up just buying a Plantronics M3000.

Be prepared to wait for the wireless wave headset - I am on about 5 weeks with none yet.

I *think* it will be a Plantronics M2500 though.

The Jabbra Freespeak 250 works fine on both the 7100g and the 7290.

There were some issues with the BT200 version of the headset and BlackBerries but the BT250 version (as stated) works fine.
