I bought a a white blackberry bold housing set from eBay and I got it today. When I was taking the BlackBerry apart, I had to seperate the thing that covers the actual LCD (the part that says BlackBerry at the top) from the actual LCD. In the process, it looks like a darker film has come off and it appears that I cracked it a bit!

I put it back together and the screen is just completely white, but Im still reciving messages and stuff. I know that the screen is broken and I need a new one but Im wondering if theres anything I can do to make it so that I can at least see the screen?

The cracks on the LCD are NOT visable. Its weird, the only way I can see them is if i put the old black LCD screen cover on top of the screen and then somehow, through the blackish film, all of the cracks are revealed. Theres a lot but they dont look deep or anything which is confusing me as to why I cant see anything but a white screen

I use this phone for business to PLEASE help me if you know how! in the mean time I will have to buy a new LCD!!!!

There's nothing for it but a new screen, IMHO. I'm no repair guru, but it looks like it's a goner.
