Default Viigo problem

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, so I have heard lots of "I can't live without Viigo" "Viigo is the best tool I have on my BB", etc etc etc.... Soooooo

I installed Viigo on my Bold, running .190 about a 3 or 4 days ago. Looks like a nice little app for managing RSS news, and info feeds...... Not really knock my socks off, but ok.....

Brought it up last night, and realized, I never got the "Account verification" message. Not sure what that does for me, but I did a Resend. Still no message. I log on to the Viigo site, go to support, it tells me to do all the stuff I did. If that does not work, create a Support ticket, which requires me to Log in. Every time I try to Log in, the Login Screen Locks up Internet Explorer.

Soooo, do I need to Log in From the Blackberry?

Is there a problem right now?

What does Registering My account get me?

Is there more to Viigo, than RSS feeds? Is there a good list of features somewhere?

Thanks

Hi,

I work for Viigo. You can submit a ticket to me by emailing support at viigo.com. In it can you tell me what your Viigo user name is so that I can look you up on our server?

Also, can you send me the URL of the support site that is locking up on you?

Thanks,
Tammy

You do need to login from your bb. Online, you can manage any rss feed you want. Viigo is not restricted to just the feeds it suggests on the app itself. You can get real time weather, sports, stock ticker, flight status. I'm definitely one of the ones that can't live without Viigo.

Tammy, Thanks. I have sent in an email to support as you suggested. I could not send it from the email account that is registered, as I am at work right now and there are restrictions on what I am allowed to access from this site. I will work on this more once I get off work.

Ok so I found something on the Viigo site that there are issues with Verification Emails and Earthlink. Unfortunately, my only other email is a work/mil account that should not be used for private stuff.

Viigo addresses this on their site forums, or maybe I saw it somewhere else, hard to recall now with all the app forums i've been looking at.
Just go to Options
Then Account
then hit your menu key and you will see "Refresh Account information" click that. Done deal.

I didn't notice any difference though on mine, other than it now shows I'm registered. *shrugs*

did you ever find an answer on how to make this work for you? I am also an earthlink email user and I am having issues getting my account verified.

Nope..... Other than "Get another Email account"

I did get support, but it seems that for some reason, the software they use for validation will not send to Earthlink adresses.

None of the other suggestions I got would allow the email to be sent to earthlink, or for the software to "register".

At some point I will probably set up an account, but have not done so, yet....
