I'm trying to find a program that I can use to securely store my various credit card information on my phone.

I often order things online and I don't always have my wallet with me to get the credit card number and various info it requires.

Is there a password protected program out there that I can use for this?

Ascendo Datavault is my app of choice. it's kept all my personal account info @ hand and locked air-tight...

when i'm at the bank and need info or @ DMV, i have it all in my phone....life saver.

Another option is Flex Wallet which is now called eWallet. I have used Flex Wallet for years, first on a Pocket PC and now on my BB. It also has a desktop version. Can't really comment on the pros and cons as compared to the other programs mentioned since I haven't tried them. Just thought I would throw it out as an option.

Why can't you just put an entry in the password keeper? Name it Bank Of America CC or something, then put the cc # and info in the notes field.

I use BlackBerry Wallet. It's free and really basic. I haven't used any of the other apps like this for the BlackBerry, but eWallet for the iPhone was great, and I'm considering switching to that. Until then though, BB Wallet is good for the price.

I have been using Ascendo DataVault for years now and I have to say it is by far the BEST application for securing my data. Cedit cards, web logins/passwords, software keys and you can even import from blackberry memos.

I have tried the rest and I stuck with the best, Ascendo DataVault!

Why do we need those apps when the password keeper works fine? Are the security features of the said programs that much better?

Password Keeper is fine.

Password Keeper is fine but DataVault provides a desktop application which sync with the BlackBerry and it's alot more customizable, organized, and easier to use then the password keeper in my opinion.

In the end this comes down to personal preference.
