Hi, new here, just started owning a crackberry!

I notice that when i plug my computer into the computer, the Torch screen would flash, first showing a primitive Phone --> Computer picture, then it flashes white and shows a more better looking picture of a phone connected to a computer, then it flashes white again and reverts back to a primitive picture.

Is this normal? it would flash back and forth 2-3 times before it settles. I can connect to the computer no problem, but i figure this type of flashing isn't good fro the phone.. any thoughts?

I get the same flashing but mine ultimately does not connect.
