RIM finally solved the issue. Like others in this thread, I am not alone. Apparently, there was a glitch in the T-mobile system (according to the RIM representative... with a heavy french accent
) that automatically
UNchecked [a box for] HTML capabilities on some users when they
officially switched over to OS 4.5. The rep informed me that T-Mo does not have the capability of changing this option on their end.
Soo, what does that mean?
It means if you are having the same problem, call T-mobile or your service provider and
ask them to transfer you directly to RIM. Since they have logged more than several cases having the same problem, they can solve the issue in less than a few minutes just by
CHECKING a box.
Maybe this should be a sticky for a few days since I know more than a handful of people are having the same issue.
