Otherwise, it's pretty cool--seems to be sort of a battery hog, though, so if you're taking a long trip and want to use it, be sure to have a car charger with you.

BBWeather. First thing I look at in the morning, including e-mail. It's small and is the fastest and most solid app I use. Waiting for MyCast on 8800 series, though...
Have to add, TeleNav (finally for 8830), TellMe, and XM (one day trial only at this point, but it's attractive at $8US a month)

Definitely NOT the built-in PDF reader... absolutely terrible!
I like Repligo for PDF viewing. A very nice app that formats the files beautifully for viewing on your BB.

Just checking out IdeaMatrix and ToDoMatrix. I don't see much of a difference between the two. Maybe I'm missing something. What is the difference between the two?

with my understanding...
todomatrix is more like tasks.
ideamatrix is more like memopad.
best apps for me are operamini and google maps

Thanks. It seems like they are pretty much the same. Just the way you implement them.

I would have to say BBweather, and honorable mention to Blip neat program for when I'm cruising on the motorcycle so the wife can see where I am.

In some ways, yes. But the scheduling and alarms on ToDoMatrix are much more extensive than with IdeaMatrix.
