Iphone, Prada phone, 88xx, 89xx

It looks like the iPhone won't have as great of a launch as everyone thinks. The prada phone has a working demo out and its show here on youtube.
YouTube - Prada Phone
The fish theme looks pretty cool and makes the iPhone clown fish look primative.
What do you think about the Prada phone? With it stealing most of the iPhone's touch screen thunder it looks like the future 88xx and 89xx BBs have a fighting chance in the consumer market. Without an "end all" media phone stealing all the thunder away from BBs first qwerty consumer phone, RIM should have a perfect place in the future consumer market.
What do you think?

Also with the prada phone video, you can see some of the touch screen flaws that will definately plague the iPhone too. Every single touch can't work everytime. Some of those touches have to be off center and not give the desired results.

Damn! And I just dumped all my RIM stock for Prada, too!
As for those models not released yet, they can only be objectively judged when readily available. Anything else is speculation built on guesswork.

i-What?
Here's an excerpt from a link posted below:
"I came across an article online mentioning that some analysts think the iPhone is not a smartphone.
Instead they call the iPhone a very high end feature phone.
This is based mainly on the idea that the iPhone will not support third party applications as the BlackBerry does.
Someone will probably find a way to get some applications on the iPhone regardless, but analysts think the lack of third party applications might hinder the phones sales."

Did Apple rip-off LG?
Did Apple rip-off LG? (highly likely)
It looks like the i-Phone has been identified as a feature phone, (not smartphone) along with Prada in that space.
Ranking
# 1 Prada, a Slick Adult High End Feature Phone.
# 2 Apple, a great colorful toy for the kids and young adults.
So RIM will continue to Dominate the Smartphone market for business people, and the Pearl will continue to lead the consumer sector.
Especially when one considers the vast, powerful alliance between RIM and Rogers, the new At&t, and Euro businesses, this promises to be a Milestone year for all things BlackBerry.

Obviously the market takes these firestarter diatribes seriously, since AAPL ticked up another 0.25% today. Thanks!

Somehow, I seriously doubt that a lifetime of smokescreened internet forum posts gets a tick in either direction.
