SMS received have later timestamp than the original sent
I noticed on my 7730 that the SMS timestamp received is usually the time i turned on my phone after i woke up in the morning - or watever time i wakes up after i turned off my phone. its not the same as the time the SMS were sent.. easily verified by sending one from the web or antother phone while the handset is turned off for a few mins.
running the latest OS4.0 downloaded from Australia.. - tried other versions of OS4.0 - same problem.
any ideas or is this a bug?
thanks

Same thing here. All SMSes received when I turn on the handheld show the time I turned on the handheld. I'm on Starhub, are you? I'm using a 7290.
Did the Aussie OS work well? Do you have any connectivity/function issues when you change the OS using another's provider's software? I was tempted to change my OS, but was concerned that I might get connectivity problems, like no web browser (that "Gee!" thingy). Plus it's a corporate berry and not mine... so...

This is because when the Blackberry is off, it doesnt actually receive the message when it is sent. The message sits in a hold until the device is registered on the network. When you turn the device on and it registers then it sends the message.
