Hi, guys! I'm new at the forum, as well at Blackberrys, never had one...
I'm about to change my cell phone, and I decided to try a BB this time.
After some research, I'm divided by these two:

Curve 9360
Bold 9780

I know Bold has more batery life, and some more resources, but curve has newer OS and better proc. And one thing very important to me is a good batery life, since a i had a bad experience with my Droid...

So, which one should I get? Bold or Curve?

What cell carrier do you plan to use, since you didn't list one in your profile? Which device do they carry and support?

What research have you done so far?

Have you gone to a store and played with one or both?

I made a quick research, dind't help me with my particular doubt.

My cell carrier is Vivo (i'm from Brazil).

I read severals reviews about them 2.

Nope, i'm gonna do this today, and probably gonna buy one of them today.

I created this thread because i'd like an opinion of who understand of BB's, i mean, the hardware and OS. I'm basically gonna use the phone for calls, sms, check e-mails, facebook, internet and so... Which one would you indicate me? Is it worth take the Curve with newer OS or the Bold with better battery life and other stuff? That's my question

Regardless of opinions on the devices. Blackberry's and their required data plans are different and unique. You need to make certain that Vivo supports both or you will be very unhappy.

Yeah, i'm aware of that. And Vivo supports both of them, that's not gonna be a problem.

Both will do what you want to do. Go play with them at the local store and see which you like best. 9780 is toward the high end and 9360 toward the low end. Make sure to compare the specs.
