Hello,
Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the Cingular image that appears when my 8700 is locked with a photo that is in my pictures file.

No you can't. the image is tied to the theme and you can't change that image.

Yes, you can email the picture to yourself and save it in your pictures folder on your BB. Just make sure that the picture is not larger than 320 x 240 pixels or it will not work. There are several apps out there for resizing pictures. I use Adobe Photoshop, but there are free ones that you can find by searching the forums.

Wallpaper yes you can but I think he meant when the handheld is locked. That image can't be changed it's tied to the theme.

OOPS, Nitty is right, in order to have your picture show when locked you will have to down load the Zen update.
