I have a Storm 2, and it recently locked up. When I restored using desktop manager, I now receive the following email messages, and usually 15-20 times a day. It is driving me crazy! I have talked to several sales associates in my Verizon store, and no one seems to have a clue how to stop them.

What does this mean? How can I make them stop? Help!!

Try a search. It has been covered before.

It is a network message from RIM.

I think the only way to stop is to let it run until it stops.

I have 2 email accounts on the BB, this message only comes in on 1 of them. I am not using the BB Enterprise server, and previously the email accounts were fine. Letting it go until it stops means receiving a ton of useless messages, and being alerted to each one, which defeats the convenience factor of having a BB in the first place...

You've installed desktop manager using the "redirector" option, not personal email option.

Thanks, all. I just read the FAQ on the strange messages, and although I dont remember installing Desktop Redirector, I'm ready to try anything. So, here goes! (Pretty simple fix if it works!)
