Default blackberry PIN

Please Login to Remove!

i read some things about the PIN that each phone is assigned. i wanted to know if my phone's PIN can be hidden or if it is public (meaning anyone who can message to a blackberry PIN can do so or see other PINs) ?

i don't know much about how this feature works, just lookin' 4 some info.

thanks...

PINs are assigned specifically the BB. PINs cannot be changed or carried over to to a new BB if you change devices. PIN #s are not public, you know it and your carrier knows it and no one else. No one can message to your PIN without you giving it to them... PIN messages can only be sent from another BB user.

MDS on BES can be configured to send your PIN and email with every browser request you make, but I doubt any company actually does this.
