I get downloaded movies for my iPod touch in this format (no DRM). Will they play on the 8900?

That's why I hate video. There are too many formats. There's really no reason for more than a couple-3. They all look the same. There's no way someone can tell which is which easily (.mp4 can mean a bunch of different ones). Converting programs wreck the quality bigtime. Burning programs usually have to convert first and who knows what they'll accept. Whoever thought up all these formats was smoking way too much and wrecked the industry IMO. In truth what a lot of people do is just try it and see if it works. If not half of them give up, half have time to mess with it. <ends rant>

How do you put them on the iPod in the first place? DVD's are write-protected, no? And if you are downloading movies from iTunes, they are DRM...
(I have used a most-likely-illegal program to unlock the code but it is a tedious job.)
