Default Is Unlimited Data In Cingular's Plan?

Please Login to Remove!

I purchased the 8700c thru the Amazon deal. I ordered it with the BB add-on plan, and a minute plan for voice. No data plan was even offered. Does that mean that I am using my minutes each time I go online, or am I going online via the BB add-on? Not even the supporting account documentation I just received in the mail explains this.
Thanks.

It is unlimited for BB email and webrowsing.

There are a few things not covered and require a seperate data plan
  • Using BB as a modem for a laptop
    Using Direct TCP/IP for applications

If you don't know what those two things are, then you don't need to worry. I'm sure there are plenty of posts about those in the forum if you want to learn more.

Sorry, but I find that statement funny as hell. Kind of like when you asked your mother "Why?" and she says "Beacuse I said so"

Yes for the most part unlimited=unlimited, but I do believe that it does not include IM-ing.

No appology, funny is intentional. Funny too when you realize you say, "because I said so" to your kids when you swore you'd never do that as a parent.

As long as IM doesn't require Direct TCP/IP, then it will get covered by the Blackberry plan. I don't use any IM programs, so I'm not sure which do and which do not. Of course, having MDS can help mitigate that in some cases.
