I heard this through the grapevine and was wondering if this partnership has been implemented and what are the effects?

I still visit MYSpace the cumbersome way through the browser but if this partnership means getting all my info very quickly and efficiently through a GUI of some sort that would be awesome.

I know some of you guys hate MYSpace but I generate some of my business through there so it's important to me

If you visit MySpace via the browser and log in, the first link just below your picture on the left, reads: "Get MySpace on Cingular".

And Cingular being Cingular... they're going to charge you a monthly fee for it

I looked and looked and I don't see anything that mentions Cingular.

Cingular subscribers are the only ones able to get SMS alerts on their phones regarding communications on MySpace, along with a few other perks. No UI that I know of, though. On your main profile page, beneath your image, there should be a couple of links that mention "get alerts to your mobile phone" or something of that nature.

Nope, don't see anything. That's OK, if all it does is send SMS text to the phone whenever there's activity on MYSpace, i don't really need that feature. I already have it set up were my Yahoo email account pushes to my Blackberry so everytime i get a message on MYSpace I get an email notice and it goes to the Blackberry. I'm just tired of having to go through the hoops of logging in and all.

Thanks the the image file, i looked and i don't have that on my myspace page. WEIRD.
