Default Not to hijack, but, are you waiting or getting this one??

I'm rocking an aging Pearl Version 1. Should I upgrade to this Version 1.75 or not? I'm looking for help here people. I'm a SureType convert, so don't go trying to sway me this way or that.

Any and all suggestions will be much appreciated.

Thx.

why do you say pearl 1.75? just out of curiousity. its the Pearl generation 2 (aka Pearl 2). Do you want wifi, external memory, PTT, video capability, 2MP camera, etc? if you dont want the features then there is no reason to upgrade

Thanks for the quick reply. . .
I say 1.75 because I already had PTT, camera, memory (how often am I gonna remove it anyway?). . .
Does it run faster?
Does it have more onboard memory?
Is the memory squeeze fixed?
Is the battery cover gonna stay on better?
You're correct on the video recording, that's cool, but is wifi worth the cost? Maybe I'm just caught up in the 3G hype.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my 'berry, and I guess I'm just hoping for a little therapy.

Help me either come down off the ledge or jump. . .

FYI, the current pearl is in need of replacement pretty soon anyway. . . lost my battery cover snap, so it's taped up now.

if its in need of replacement, its unlikely you will see another suretype device in the next couple months. they just released this one. the WIFI allows for simultaneous voice/data, which is unlike any other pearl before. the camera has been updated. it can stream audio/video over the web (mobile youtube, etc). the memory out of the box is 8gb+.
