I would pick up an Android Tablet before buying a PlayBook.

Re: Thinking to Buy
Don't overlook the iPad! I'd only buy a PlayBook now if I got one for $50 or less and if I didn't care about apps.

We all have our biased opinions. Seriously though, stay away from the PlayBook. Far away.

Re: Thinking to Buy
As one of thousands of orphaned consumer electronics, I've been thinking of buying one purely for the sake of having one, just like I would jump at the chance to buy a good 7290.
For actual productivity and usefulness, though, I would not buy a PlayBook.

It depends what you'd want your tablet for. The Playbook, although at end of support, is a VERY capable device with thousands of apps. I still use mine daily and it's rock solid.

Buying a PlayBook with the somewhat dubious promise of it getting the new OS and then deciding to pick one up after it has been abandoned by BlackBerry themselves are two entirely different things.
I use mine as well, perhaps not daily, but again, even that is not what the OP is asking. You can honestly type that you approve of buying a PlayBook over almost any Android tablet?

Not sure what the OP is asking. It's a fairly vague post which is why I ask what the tablet would be used for.

Re: Thinking to Buy
One of the great things I liked about my PlayBook was how well it integrated with my 9900. Now with my Q10 and no useful integration between the it and the PlayBook, I find I rarely use my PlayBook.
Very disappointed with BlackBerry not developing a useful Bridge for OS10 devices and the PlayBook.
I will probably relegate the PlayBook to an e-Reader.
