Default BB Weather

When I enter the location ID(zip code) I can't go to Description and it won't let me save the LOcation ID and exit the screen to enable BB Weather. Any suggestions ?

I was not able to get BBWeather to work on the Storm. Gave up. Not worth it.

BBWeather is working on mine just fine, the keyboard pops up which is annoying but I still get my weather. I'm not sure how I did it, I think you can hit menu button twice to save the info. Try it, I forget how I did it fully though.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

The product will eventually catch up with the device or something better will become available

Found it on another thread. Go to Options>Advanced Options>Applications and highlight the 3rd party app that won't transition from portrait to landscape and disable compatability. After this I was able to configure BB Weather and BB411. working perfectly now.

Keep an eye on your battery. I found it can tap the battery by location searching and updating the icon on the screen. The author is probably making fixes to lessen the battery usage, but I found it too much.

I must say AccuWeather worked very well on by 8830 and seems to be doing just great
on my Storm. I mainly use the radar. I need to try the weather bug.

I can't get BB Weather to work on my Storm...

I can enter a profile for my city... but when I click Save... it doesn't bring me back to the main page. It stays in the Options menu... and when I press the Back button... It brings me back to the main page but still gives me the Errors. I don't think the profile is saving... and I can't figure out how to get it to save :(

Oh well. I tried.

Just loaded and was having the same problem. I was able to drag/scroll down to the save button, then hit the Enter key on the keyboard. It saved changes and works fine. The app wasn't built for this type of device so the display's a bit off, but it's my favorite BB app by far. Someone here on the forums by the handle of tateu updated BB Weather a few months ago. Maybe he/she will take another crack at it to work with the new UI.

Good luck.

As a follow up, turned off compatibility mode as suggested within this thread, and the display was a bit off. No big deal. Rebooted later on and now the display is great in landscape & portrait. And, the keyboard only shows when it needs to. I've said it before & have to say it again, awesome app.

Where is BB Weather? Is that the one accessed from the BB Webpage or is there a program actually on the BB Storm?
