I actually have a few questions, if you don't mind.

1) Do you feel like it securely holds the storm? Do you think it would be very difficult to knock it out of the holster?

2) Have you hit anything with it because it was hanging off your hip?

3) Do you think it will damage your storm over time?

4) Does it stick very far off of your belt? (i.e.: does it make you look like a holster dork?)

Default seidio screen protector?

does anyone have any experiance with seidio's screen protectors? I am intersted in getting a flex-armor case from them, and it would make my life really nice if i could get a screen protector from them too, rather then sepperately order from IS

Answers:
1: Yes. It holds the the Storm very securely. I work in construction and as this was the 1st day I had it, I dont have much experience with it yet. If I need to get to my phone quick, I release the latch and presto! Phone is out in a jiffy.
I am using the Zagg shield and I did notice that the fit in the case is a little more snug than if I wasnt using it, so I have to make sure the latch closed over the Storm properly. Not an issue for me. I am sure that if you were not using a protector like the Invisible Shield it would work perfect.

2. Its a low profile case. It doesnt stick out any further than other cases from previous Blackberries. The belt clip is designed so that it cannot slip off very easily. very nice!
You can turn the holster any which way for a more comfortable feel. I am confident that if I turned it upside down the phone would not fall out.
The only thing I did not like about it was that the clip is very hard to swivel so as to position the holster to my liking. But it may loosen up after a while.
It doesnt really matter much as my previous BB would fall out sometimes because the holster would swivel (too easily) without my realizing it.
Once you swivel it to your liking, thats it, its there!

3. I dont think so. Its made from some special plastic??? I dont know. The case is very soft to the touch (almost like greasy but not...if you know what I mean) and smooth but when I try to poke it with my fingernail, it doesnt leave an indentation. So its not rubbery...hmmm. Very interesting.
On the inside is very soft material (like felt) for the screen.
Over all I think this is an awesome case for the Storm.

4. If you can find a better holster than this let me know. As I said before, it is very low profile. I wear loose shirts and/or suits and no one would be able to tell I had it on my belt or waist line.

My $.02

I think I saw something like this at Best Buy. It fit my phone very nicely. You can take it out of the package and try it.

1) Yes it securely holds the phone well, I had the same type of designed holster for my Curve too. (I am speaking from experience with the storm tho, just got my seidio case too.)

2) I did scratch the back of my curve pretty bad due to sliding it on everything that it hit, walls, door knobs, door latches but a replacement batter door is not much more than 15$ I believe so I don't mind.

3) No, I don't think it will damage the phone, it should protect it overall, i've never had my Curve fall out OR my storm yet unless you accidentally put it on wrong and it doesn't clip in but it's pretty difficult to do so..biggest complication was getting clothes stuck in it when putting it back (like my tee shirt).

4) It is a very sleek profile and the metal batter cover of the Storm makes you look very professional. I'm 20 years old and co-workers and friends all wanted belt holsters after I had gotten mine for my Curve. What can I say but...trend setter hah. No but seriously, you just gotta rock it, it looks fresh. I still throw it in my pocket every now and then though, specially if you go to a bar or club, you don't want it accidently getting ganked or pressed up on and pulled out...but again it is in there pretty tight.

Conclusion: Buy the belt holster and stop being a chizzler, it's legit.

Upgrade date for contract pricing isn't until the 31st for the Storm, but I've had Seidio's Innocase and holster for almost a year for my Pearl, and it doesn't disappoint. I can take the Innocase off of my Pearl, and it looks like it just came out of the box new. The Innocase/holster combo is the way to go when they release it. It adds very little thickness to the profile of the device unlike the Otter Box and some of the other thicker ones. I won't use anything else on mine when the time comes unless Seidio builds a better mousetrap!

Exactly what I was going to say. It looks a LITTLE different, in that the side doesn't come up from the bottom as far, but it certainly does the job.

And I got it at BestBuy for $19.95...in-store.

So it's really a beltclip that holds the phone, not a case per se. Because the back is to the outside my guess is it'll hold the phone with the extended battery/bigger door that they'll come out with I'm certain. But it's only for the beltclip people, not the pocket people.

We have those at Best Buy and are selling like crazy along with the ZAGG IS. $19.99 is a better buy anyways.

Default Of Belt Clips

I am currently using a screen protector and silicon cover for my Storm. Just after two weeks I am seeing numerous spots on the cover where my phone would have been damaged had it not been protected.

Having used belt clips for many phones I will caution users. If you are an active person, I stongly encourage the use of a formfitting or adhesive skin if you plan to use a belt clip. Most of my clips lasted about 6 months before they were damaged to the point they were no longer usable. A couple times contact with an immovable object sent my phone flying though the air.

If you are an office worker, a belt clip is fine. If you rotate into active roles in the field, such as myself, I recommend a better retention device.

My Storm finds itself in my shirt or pants pocket where the likelihood of damage is substantially reduced.

Ok, I got so excited when I saw this post... But, it isn't the case... its just the holster... As for their cases and holsters... they ARE sharp, very well made and I would recommend them to anyone.

Until you forget it's in your shirt pocket and bend over sending it skidding across the concrete floor. Done that before to my old phone.
