I access my Microsoft Outlook email when I am away from the office through a VPN - we use an Exchange Server. Forwarding of email is blocked so I do not have the option of setting up an auto-forward rule.

If I connect my PC to the network using the VPN, leave it running all of the time, and then run the redirector, will the email be sent to my blackberry device ?

it works, that is what I did the last two days. Only issue you may get into is if your VPN times out / kicks you off if you are idle for a certian amount of time. I know for me, unless I do something in 4-5 hours, it asks to authenticate and if I am not here, well it kicks me off and mail connector will fail. If you do not have this issue, you will be cool.

Connected to VPN network - definitly
Outlook open - not sure, but I leave Notes open just to make sure so it wont hurt to leave it open

VPN connection is required, once connected and you run Redirector it should ask you to select the outlook profile (if you have setup Outook to ask) once you have done that, then that's it, you don't need to have anything else running.

Just make sure you have the MAPI profile setup through "Mail" icon under control panel to setup your Exchange Account via VPN.
