Default Hard Copy of Gmail

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

Here's my scenario:

My company blocks the OTA install of Gmail via some policy that has been pushed to our BlackBerries. However, I have it running on my current BlackBerry because I ran the OTA PRIOR to it being blocked. Is there a way to get the .cod and .alx so that I can install it manually? If not, I'm screwed when I upgrade my device : (

If anybody knows a way around this for me, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks!

Ed

Default Found it!!

I kept plodding away on Google and found another OTA link that doesn't have "gmail" in the URL. http://m.google.com/a

This wasn't blocked and I was able to download/install!!

For future reference; you can always download the .jad file, copy it to your media card and "download" it from there. Once downloaded to your card, open the media application and click the menu key and then browse to the dowload location where you saved the file. Highlight it and click menu then download. It will proceed to "download" the file to your BB.

Jag, can you post the links to the .jad files in case this comes up again?
