Is this a blackberry OS problem, Telenav, or the GPS adapter hardware not working properly? Thanks!
This is the same problem we're having.

It looks like it is a problem with the GPS device that only manifests itself through the 4.2.1.x BlackBerry software.

Which Holux adapter are you using?

So far, we've had problems with the Nemerix and the MTK chipsets. Most Holux adapters are SiRFstar's... So really, it might be all devices that have problems. John Clark mentioned he has intermittent issues w/ his Globalsat BT-359, which is a SiRFstarIII chipset when using Telenav. So basically its incompatible with almost everything.

RIM...what the hell is goin' on.

I loaded 4.2.1.141 on my 8700g and tried a few things. I found that google maps would acquire with my iBlue puck, and I let it sit for over an hour with no problem. Note that I was not moving or stressing the blackberry at all, just left the puck on a windowsil. I had the same results with bbmaps. I even had the same results using the compass in gps tools within Telenav. As soon as I switched back to the telenav home, and picked a location to navigate to, I lost the connection to the puck.

Has anyone tried wayfinder and 4.2.x?

Default Please respond to poll

I put a poll out to see how people will react that can't get Telenav to work with their non-Telenav pucks and upgraded OS. Please take 30 seconds and respond to the poll.
