Well not exactly free, but if you use the Gas Finder feature I bet you can save the monthly cost

Damn you. I used to get free telenav, but at&t closed the back door I discovered when they rebranded their version as at&t navigator or whatever they call it. Damn them too.

Thats the point. Start using the great features and you will get your money back. When is the last time you filled up your Yukon and saved 25cents on each of those precious 55 gallons.

Oh OMG's car. Agreed

Oh but I do... I do!! Actually just made a road trip from Denver to Tucson earlier this month and relied heavily on the goodies within the app to help me find food, gas, etc. It was the first time I had used it for a trip that was more than a couple hours in duration.

My only issue was that my auto power supply kept cutting off for some reason. I'm not sure whether that was the power supply or my BB shutting off the flow. By the time the Nav app gave me a pop-up warning me of a low battery condition (and by the way that was cool!) my radios shut off about 3 minutes later.

I'm still trying to nail that one down.

Do you have backlight on all the time or not, or only on turns. I think JC's lights are permanently out btw.

A good alternative is using the FREE Telenav FuelFinder...
take your wap to "tnwap.com/fuelFinder/"

I use the fuelfinder IN the ATTNAV application, but I found this wap site in the AT&T MediaNet application.

Backlights are wimps.

You had JS's whimp on all the time. He's gonna get gassed over that.

Well it's still new to me and when you're driving mile after mile with little to see, counting down the miles to destination was at least something to keep me amused

Do you suspect this is the sole issue responsible for the power problems?

I thought everyone did this, but since I use my Nav4All and Keychain puck for many hours at a time (with constant backlight on), I simply keep my BB and puck plugged into the car's 12VDC socket. No drainage problem there!
BTW, since I have TWO devices plugged in, I simply got a Radio Shack cheapo Y-adapter for the 12VDC socket
