Default BBM Unread trick

Please Login to Remove!

Hey,

Can someone with a bold or javelin tell me if the copy/paste trick still works, that lets you read blackberry messenger messages without them showing as read?

For anyone who doesn't know what I mean: on a Curve, say Sarah sends you a message. Open up a conversation with Mary and beneath where you type you will see "Sarah says blah blah...." but then it gets cut off. Highlight that part and click menu, copy. then go to where u type to Mary (or anywhere really, and click menu, paste. You can then read it, and on Mary's screen it won't show up as read.

Does this still work with newer Blackberry's?

Doesn't work for me. If someone BBMs me while i am in a convo with another person it only says that persons name, not the start of their message. The way I avoid showing someone i have read their message is to just look at it from my messages section. It only shows the first part of it, but i can usually get the gist of what the person is saying.

It only shows the name now and not part of the message anymore.
