hey i dropped my 8520 and now it is doing some strange stuff
when i turn it on screen brightens and a battery sign appears(empty) with a red cross(X) over it.. that strip on the bottom of screen keeps on loading untill a specific point.. i tried charging battery but all in vain .. please help me

Help you do what? Sounds like you may have done some severe damage like cracksed a circuit board.

You could bring it to a repair shop, but it is not a high-end model. You should probably consider replacing it.

You can try placing a paper shim on the side of the battery opposite the contacts. If it's a loose battery that often fixes it. Generally a piece of a business card works well.
