4.5.0.52 Is Awesome!
Please Login to Remove!
finished installing 4.5.0.52 this morning and it is SO MUCH BETTER than 4.2.2.x
UMA is still not working 100% but here on Orange UK its performing better on this OS than previous.
Love the new font and layouts, epecially the new look email view, top marks.
Documents to go is a much needed addition, also the upgrade went flawlessly, all settings we're restored.
Lovin my new improved Blackberry!

If you downloaded the official release from Vodafone its actually 4.5.0.37.
There is a beta 4.5.0.52 out there however. Regardless, the OS does bring some much needed improvements to the device

No, it was not vodafone.
Its called 4.5.0.52 (rel 75), didnt seem to be anything resembling vodafone in the file name or data but im relativily new to this.

you have the beta release then. That version has not been officially released (to my knowledge) by any carrier.

Have to say, the .52 is much better than the .37 that's released officially.
But overall, really something needs to be done revolutionary with BB now to compete with iPhone and Andriod.

on tmo, whats the consensus on UMA? I installed .52 rel 75 this AM and mine has been going back to EDGE here and there, but it might just be the wifi network where I am right now. I made a call over UMA and it worked fine.

I love 52 too, it is more stable, I got my VM icon back on the 8320, much more free memory, and not resets while on calls (I just finished a 2 hour UMA conference call). While i was on the phone i was able to surf the web (yes I am sure), install apps using device manager, and still contribute to the ongoing call. Wow, who needs 3g when you can do that on the trusted 8320 on TMO's network.

If you go in Options -> About does it show anything? And is this .37 in disguise like the other official 4.5 release?

Is this any different from Beta .42? TMO here. .44 is working great, but if there's something I'm missing then hey.

I noticed on my 8320 that the pre-loaded pictures aren't on my device anymore, and when I erase emails it doesn't give the options to erase on handheld or in my mailbox either.....

No, and your post is edited removing the asking for the link. 8330 only accepts 8330 OS. Latest for CDMA I have seen is .51

You can manually load the pictures. As for the option to delete on handheld and mailbox you can change that in the options when you are viewing messages.
