I got up this morning 3am PST and notice I have no email on my Bold. I notice data will not work. I have 5 bars 3g but the little Blackberry symbol in between the 3g and signal indicator is off. I did a battery pull and still no fix. The network test says i am connected to the mobile network but not BIS or BES.
Usually a battery pull will fix these type of issues but not in this case.
I don't know why this is so hard. Im in the mobile network options and cannot find this. I don't have a network mode field that the instructions say to change. Maybe the ATT FW does not have this option?
Doug, if you have not, do a powered on battery pull & reboot. Threre was a RIM maintenance outage last night which could have affected you or your area. It was shortlived and only affected a limited number of users, but...

yup... rebooted several times, no good. i was JUST finally able to login to the BIS site, resent service books and still nothing... not even the "congratulations" messages you normally get saying message delivery will start in 20 mins. definitely something wrong...
I did a soft reset and still no go. I can log into the AT&T BIS website, but when I click on service books, it just says "processing, please wait..." Dang it!!!
Update: service books successfully sent, but nothing coming through on my device :(
I did a test send email and kicked back saying failed to contact service.
What the heck is going on?
