Unhappy wireless update for contacts

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 8820 and would like to have wireless updates to my Contacts. I go to the Address Book, click options, and I do not see a choice to turn on wireless synchronization. How do I get wireless Address Book synchronization? We have a BES and this option is suppose to be turned on.

What version BES?
What messaging platform?
What are your IT Policy rules?

Too many unknowns at this point, so it would be impossible to answer.
Please provide more detail.

Have you tried resending the service books to the handheld from BES?
Is the user's profile set up to allow Wireless Sync of the Address Book?
Have you looked in the BES logs to see if you can identify any error messages or problems?
What troubleshooting steps have you taken?

Help us help you. MORE DETAILS PLEASE.

My IS group resent the service books, specifically the Desktop SVNC and the Desktop CICAL along with reseting the Server. All of a sudden the Address Book Menu under Options showed a choice for Wireless Syncronization and the unit starting working properly.

Thanks for all your help.
