I was under the impression that this site was for getting help, not insulting the way someone speaks.
I myself am from the hood. I was born here, I will die here. And truth be told, many of you speaking the way you do would be made fun of if you came here.
Then, to top it off, someone tried to say that the way someone speaks relates to bring able to afford a blackberry.

"Myself" is redundant. You should say: "I am from the hood" . . . wherever that is!

not to be picky, but it isn't redundant, just unnecessary. you could say "I, myself, am from the hood..." and would be perfect English. Anyway, this is severely off topic (obviously including my post). Lets get back on topic please.

and to answer Kamau, this is a forum, on the internet, not everyone is from your hood as they are from mine, hell i'm from nyc, we dont even say the letter r in the number four, but, would me going fou make sense?
most posts dont have to be perfect in english nobody said that, but in a way they have to make some sort sense, not spend 30 min googlin an ebonics to english translation.

but thats my 2 cents on this topic, it was fun but again to get help people have to understand or know what your getting at. its like someone screaming "joe" instead of help would you react the same way? no you would probably let them scream till they piss you off, then maybe it might click that their joe is actually help.
