Hi, i'M CHANGING FROM A 9320 TO A BRAND NEW 9320.
I DID THE DEVICE SWITCH ON THE PHONE WITH MEDIA CARD. AT THE END THE PHONE LISTS EVERYTHING THAT WILL BE TASFERED AND THEN HAS A LIST UNDERNEATH CALLED "NON-TRANFERABLE DATABASES" WHICH LISTS MY GMAIL CONTACT LIST.
NOW, ALL MY CONTACTS ALWAYS WENT TO THE GMAIL LIST SO THIS MEANS THAT IT WON'T TRANSFER ANY NUMBERS!

WHAT I'VE TRIED SO FAR:
- DEVICE SWITCH ON DESKTOP MANAGER, DIDNT WORK - BACKUP OLD PHONE AND RESTORE ONTO NEW PHONE, DIDNT WORK.
- SYNCED GMAIL ONTO MY NEW PHONE WHICH WORKED BUT I NOTICE THAT GMAIL ONLY EVER RECEIVED A SMALL PART OF MY CONTACT LIST AND NOW THE OLD PHONE DOESNT EVEN GIVE ME AN OPTION TO SYNC THE CONTACTS TO GMAIL BUT DOES INSIST ALL CONTACT GO TO GMAIL LIST.

IF ANYONE CAN HELP THAT WOULD BE AMAZING AS MY CONTACTS ARE MY ENTIRE BUSINESS! (I'M IN SALES)

Download Desktop Manager from blackberry.com and use it to do a switch . It will backup all your data and move it to the new phone.
Read the instructions on the site for details. The software is free

thanks.i eventually thought of this option BUT you will never believe this. DTM is not detecting either device! any advice?

first make sure the port your using is not a hub port. Next make sure the data cable is the one that came with the phone.
