Default 9630 Beta Releases?

Please Login to Remove!

I am told that 4.7.1.50 is in beta. Nonetheless, is anyone aware of any beta releases for this device?

Apparently, it's coming soon. Too bad I had to upgrade now instead of waiting for the Storm2!

8530 w/ Wifi
9630 + Wifi
Storm 2 w/ Wifi

All by the end of year... I really think I am going to wait. You got another 2/3 weeks to decide on your Tour don't you?

Of course if I have wifi on BlackBerry I might be using my laptop even less lol...

I can really care less about wifi... Lovin the Tour, no regrets... I had wifi when I was with tmo and it got used a few times right after I got the device and then never again...

I'm really considering Wifi at this point, since my I have no signal at work and my battery is dead by 2-3 in the afternoon. (I work out of a big concrete box.../County Jail)

I would really like to know as soon as any betas for the Tour are found out there. There's a hybrid floating around someone on cb made up, but not fond of a hybrid that uses files from a different devices' 5.0 beta. My tour runs fine, but always looking to try the new betas out there.

I have both ATT and Verizon (Bold and Tour) and let me say, WiFi has been tremendous for me. For data and all other apps, my Bold has been a solid performer. I've used WiFi more since knowing it can be handy when I go to different hotspots, no data coverage, etc. I wish the Tour had it initially, but I'll guess I'll have to wait till they release there WiFi versions on Verizon.

I'm still trying to get my head around why everyone cares so much about WiFi - although my perception could be a bit skewed because I live & work in a major metropolitan area with Evdo coverage everywhere.

Head a little north into some of the mountains and valleys. No signals. WiFi becomes very, very important then.

Most of the people who miss Wi-Fi have AT&T and T-Mobile. Those with Verizon have great service throughout the majority of the county and really don't need Wi-Fi. I have Verizon and travel throughout the entire country and there was only one time (Northern California) where I did not have great service.
