Hello.
I didnt find an option to post a poll but i was just wondering how many people who use the bold use the dial from home screen function and how many have it set to 'no'?

No for me. I like many shortcut key operations on my home screen. It's easy enough to hit the phone button once to start the phone usage.

Absolutely not. One on the things I dislike about the Suretype style keyboards is the inability to turn off dial from home screen.

My Bold is set to no for Dial from HomeScreen. Its the best of both worlds for having speed dial AND the homescreen shortcuts.

I have mine set to "NO", but i still find my self hitting the menu button to go to something, this is my first BB so I'm not familiar with many of the shortcuts yet.

Mine is set to "No". Same reasons as the other "No's" above. ;) Pretty easy just to hit the green phone button when you want to dial, and having the shortcut keys available is critical to me.

Set to NO! The shortcut keys are so great I could never go back to a SureType device. The only possible inconvenience of setting it to "no" is having to hit the send key to get to the phone app. Small price to pay.

Set to No. Shortcuts are far too convenient.

I definitely set mine to 'no'. With the shortcuts on the main screen, I can fly between applications whenever I get notifications and such. It's great. I don't mind having to push the Green button to start a call. And I usually go through my contacts to call anyone anyway :P
