Can some please advice me my blackberry storm dropped it came on switched off then on and off now its completely black but shows a red light. What can i do. Can it be refurbished

I just started having the same problem. I also recently dropped it. It seems it won't charge the phone properly anymore. I replaced the battery with something new and it will charge a little but not much. Eventually the battery runs itself down to where it shuts itself off. If you try to charge it, it will a little, just enough to turn on a little, but then turns off again since the battery is too low. This cycle happens forever. My only solution is I purchased a wall charger for the battery and just always keep a spare battery charged. I am waiting until a new touch screen blackberry comes out on Verizon to upgrade and will have to stick with this for a while.

Did you drop it on its side? If so, you probably damaged the motherboard.

If it is still under warranty, try to get a replacement.
