That makes no sense whatsoever.

CrazyBeautiful,
If you have a Backup of your device try the following and then Restore your content back...

Options> Security Settings> General Settings> Hit the menu key then wipe handheld.

Patti,

I completely understand your hesitance and see why you're nervous due to losing your apps and data. JL_Cmder will not harm your device, it WILL remove whatever OS and any applications from the device. I see where this could sound terrifying. However, I, as well as many others, on her have had great success following those procedures.

I offered the step as a possible solution. You are in good hands at this forum. All the help you will need can be found here.

The way you choose to handle this entirely up to you and your comfort level.

OH MY GOSH!!!!
Thank you everyone that tried to help me and the one person that ried to message me to my bb messenger even though at the time my 4.5 would not support my messenger because it thought I was not on a 8100...
And for the PM's and everything....

I also called T-Mobiles BB Support, I don't know wtf they are support of! You all should be getting paid to do this not them all they keep telling me was uninstall and reinstall one lady told me to go to Kinkos and let them do it.

Anyway...so here I am hours and hours and tears later!

I tried what everyone said. Took a little bit from here and there and came up with something that with pure luck worked.

I uninstalled everything off my computer. Then reinstalled everything back to my computer the OS and the DM from the T-Mobile website. I wiped out my phone then connected it and tried using a different USB port (or whatever its called) on the computer and let it run and clicked a different button on the loading applications box and just let it run and didn't touch the computer or the blackberry till it told me it was done. And when it turned back on...

TADA!!!!

Back to my 4.2! And all my stuff went back on the phone because I backed it all up so its back like I had it before I did all this except my Popeye game.

Anyway, Thank you everyone that tried to help me. I really appreciate it!!!!!!

{group hug!}

NOW my only problem is AAAAALLLL MY BB Buddies are gone! Come add me again please!!! PIN: 247804A6

I have a question...
You said your BBM kept saying you weren't using an 8100. Where did you get the 4.5 OS from?

AFTER I 4.5 INSTALLED, TYPING TROOPER DECIDED IT COME BACK STILL!!! ITS LIKE A LITTLE ROACH. NOTHING WILL KILL IT OR GET RID OF IT! I can delete it for a few days but sooner or later it reporduces and comes right back on my phone!
What is Typing Trooper - is that an application I haven't heard about yet; and where can I find that Popeye game you were talking about? If possibly, could you send me a link to download the game to my Curve - I'm sure to return the favor; I can get an awesome version (possibly the best) of Pacman specificly designed for handsets with the trackball and for free! Let me know if you are interested.

Ok well first of all, this person who posted above me I'm a little confused by his/her post are you mocking me or were you trying to quote me? Or did this happen to you? Are you asking a question? I don't get it.

Anyway as for Cartiel, what I am talking about is a free game called Typing Tutor I think. I keep calling it Typing Trooper because I thought that's what it is called because its a game to teach you how to use the key board on your BB and there are little planes that fly over a little building and you have to type words in them and shoot down theses little men that come down before they reach the building and take it over. Its fun at first but once you know what you are doing it kinda sucks.

The Popeye game I got from T-Mobile off T-Zones. I live in Houston Texas, when Ike hit in September our power was out for a week and I got bored and downloaded the old vintage arcade game of Popeye. It's by Namco. I believe if you go to Namco's web page you can buy it from them off their site. I got my through T-Mobile but it's the same exact thing. And Typing Trooper or whatever it's called I got by going on to the blackberry website from my phone and going to the games section and then going to the free games section its in that area.
