If you want this phone from the UK then look at Carphone Warehouse. They sell generic unlocked phones, provided they are doing this model

Not sure if it will be unlocked, plus Vodafone tend to modify the firmware. Have seen it with the Storm in the past that after it was unlocked it worked with different service providers but the data services struggeled.

With CPW they definitely sell unlocked phones coz thats their USP.
It will be interesting to see how Vodafone ship this phone....locked or unlocked

It will be locked to vodafone.
Data services wouldn't struggle, if its a GSM phone, and a correctly provisioned SIM.

Firstly, Im on t-mobile (they arent getting it in the uk...yet)
My contract doesnt end till June 2010.
If its on t-mobile (or O2) in june 2010, then i'll get it.
