IMO, i dont think there is any bluetooth headset that is good with a BB. Just get any regular headset. A BB doesnt have voice dialing so there goes one waste of a feature for the bluethooth headset.

I agree. BB bluetooth functionality is limited so you won't gain too much from headset to headset. I use a plain old Jabra BT110 that uses a AAA battery! I like it better than the Motorola headsets because the Jabra goes in the ear and the Motorola sits ontop of the ear. I think you can hear the conversation better with the Jabra in the ear.

Thumbs down Motorola H500

Well, I went to BestBuy and tried this one. Sounded good to me! Called the wife and all she could hear was an annoyning high pitch ringing in the background. So back to BestBuy it goes! This makes the 2nd bluetooth I have tried with terrible results!
Help someone!

Thumbs up Motorola H700 is FANTASTIC

My HS810 finally died. I tried the HS820 and HS850, as well as a few Plantronix headsets. None of them fixed the low Volume problem I've had since upgrading from the 3.8 handheld software. I bought the H500 and was happy with the volume, but like someone else mentioned there was a constant whine that was annoying everyone I talked with. The first headset that people refused to talk to me when I was using. I got the H700 from Amazon.com for under 80 dollars, and it is the clearest and loudest headset I have ever used. It is smaller than the HS810. THe volume is excellent. I have not had a chance to try it in windy or noise environments, but so far it I am extremely happy with it.

I never had it, but I just try looking up info on it and it doesn't say anything about using it with left or right ear. So i doubt it but i could be wrong.

I like the Jabra BT500 (Wireless one). Works good. Only problem hurts the ear after long usage.

Purchased from Nextel store.

The make the Plantronics voyager 510 look like it is for the right ear only. I would want it for the left!

It depends on the headset pairing with the phone. I had a Plantronics M2500 and it sucked trying to pair that thing with my 7100t. It dropped calls, dropped pairings and was just a general pain in the rear. I am hoping to get the Motorola H500 soon.

Talking

I went to Radio Shack and got the PL501. I charged it 20 minutes (not enough I know) and it sync'ed with my BB very quickly! When the link is established the BB green light blinks blue.

When I use DC it works fine! I still have to press the DC button on the phone to toggle but the earphone is plenty loud enough!

I like it!
